“I can never be soft like pastel, I am always the flashing traffic lights over the street.”
During this spoken word performance, I would read one poem walking around, and one whilst simultaneously typing on a typewriter. The audience could only focus on my voice present in the small space. The goal of this performance was to push my boundaries of intimacy. How can I let people in without them getting too close?
